Our first ridgeback Rhaya a.k.a the Countersurfer Queen..is definitely assertive and knows what she wants. Her attitude is what can you do for me? Maybe a treat or two or three? Rhaya loves her dad Greg and prefers to lounge out on the deck and soak up the sun when she's not countersurfing.
She excels in lure coursing only when there was a real rabbit skin as a lure; no plastics baggies for this hound. She keeps the male alpacas in line and loves to greet visitors at the Mirador Alpaca Ranch. Her very first love was Juma, Amandla's Pride of the Island, owned and loved by Lance and Deb. Rhaya obtained her championship, attended the 2001 Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States Specialty and produced a beautiful litter of pups which 4 were shown and obtained their championships.
